New Mexico Infection Prevention Collaborative - Cycle 1
New Mexico providers faced unprecedented challenges to maintain effective infection prevention and control programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. To support their efforts to prevent and manage COVID-19, a new infection prevention training and consultation initiative has been commenced for Assisted Living, Intermediate Care, Residential Care and Home Health and Hospice Providers.
Recordings of past webinars and supporting resources from the learning collaborative are available below. Each session focuses on a specific aspect of implementing a successful infection prevention and control program in your setting. Tools and forms that are general in nature and may apply to multiple sessions are located under Tools below.
Comagine Health (approved Nevada Board of Nursing provider-Provider # NV070595-1) has designated this activity for half (0.50) hour for nursing continuing education credit. Upon completion of the course and evaluation, nurses seeking CE credit will need to enter their license number to claim their certificate (this should be entered when completing the final evaluation survey). Individuals not seeking CE credit are able to print a certificate of completion at the end of the course by following the directions below.
In order to be eligible for .5 CE, learners must:
- Take the pre-test
- View the 30-minute course in its entirety. Once the video is completed you will be provided a password that will be needed to take the post-test.
- Enter the password provided at the end of the video to access a post-test; complete with an 80% passing grade
- Once complete, print off certificate
This Infection Prevention and Control Collaborative is funded by a grant through the CDC Project Firstline in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Health Healthcare Associated Infections program.
